Recently we approached the schools in Blessington and with their support they took packs of 25 litter pickers, Hi Vis, Gloves and Bags donated by Blessington Tidy Towns. The schools are now doing regular local litter picks around the school supervised by supporting teachers. Thank you very very much to the schools involved. Blessington Community College, The Number One School, Saint Marys Senior National School and Blessington Educate Together, it makes a huge difference to the community environment. This is all part of a greater project the An Taisce Green Flags Program, which has been ongoing for several years.
