During February and March, Blessington Tidy Towns will run a number of Biodiversity Awareness Initiatives for the community. You do not have to be from Blessington to attend… The sessions will be practical in nature, and are designed to help encourage local people to get involved in practical conservation projects, by bringing the joy of biodiversity into our homes and by bringing local communities together by combining individual actions for a collective result.
The events are designed such that the young and the not so young, the gardeners and the not so green fingered of us, can all equally participate in and enjoy this wonderful initiative, and will be run by Mairead Stack from NatureCubsIreland, who is an expert in the area of Biodiversity.More to follow on each of the events!
