Have a look at some of our painting jobs, we are constantly striving to keep Blessington looking fresh and during any given week, we can be seen out in the town with a paintbrush in hand. Funny enough as soon as one project is done you spot another. Volunteers always welcome.
Our “Plawking Initiative”. We are always encouraging the walkers and walking groups in Blessington to grab a litter picker too when on their walks around the town in the evening. “Plawking” is Picking Litter Whilst Walking. It really is a team effort. We have been working with all the local walking groups to drive this project. If you ever feel you want to talk up the baton, call into Blessington Tourist office for a Litter Picker and Bag and they will give you a Tea or Hot Chocolate after your Plawking around the town too. The Moody Rooster, Harvest Fair Health Shop, Wonkas Sweet Shop and Blessington Barbers are also supporting this initiative too.
