On Thursday, May 23, members of the Supply Chain team from Kerry Group (Naas) joined Blessington Tidy Towns for a Corporate Volunteering Day. Upon arriving at the picturesque Avon, overlooking the lakeside, the group was introduced by Jason Mulhall to the history and role of Tidy Towns and its significance in local communities across Ireland. The team then embarked on a litter-picking mission along the Blessington Greenway, collecting 6-7 bags of litter. After a busy morning filled with steps and activities, the group enjoyed a delightful lunch at the Avon, savoring meals from Big Dog Burger, Doughboys Pizza, and the Avon café. Energized and ready for more, the team headed to Blessington village, where they spent the afternoon painting the old HSE building, which is set to become a community hub for the Blessington Greenway. The day was a resounding success, and Blessington Tidy Towns extends heartfelt thanks to the Kerry Group, especially Lucrecia (Kerry) and Jason (BTT), for making the event a success. We look forward to future collaborations with the Kerry Group.
