July 2025 🎨 Adding More Colour to Blessington! 🌿
Last week, we added three new painted utility boxes around Blessington to hide graffiti, bringing a fresh splash of colour and celebrating nature and biodiversity 🐞🌼.
Huge thanks to Deniece (@compactivy) for her brilliant new designs, inspired by the local wildlife we’re all working to protect! 🐝🌱
We also want to give a special nod to Jean one of our volunteers, who started this project with the original painted boxes a few years back, long before street art became the ‘in thing’! Her creativity helped brighten up our town and inspired us to keep it going.
Keep an eye out for the new (and old) artwork next time you’re out and about! The new locations are opposite Maxol, the inner relief road at Downshire Park, and the Naas Rd to Glending Estate.
