Carrig Glen estate in Blessington recently planted 16 native Irish trees, with support from Blessington Tidy Towns, have a look at the following link, to explain further. As these trees are part of a Dispersed Urban Forest project from a Blessington Tidy Towns idea.

Carrig Glen’s has creatively transformed recycled tree trunk wood into a beautiful planter box, showcasing their commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By repurposing this wood, which was otherwise destined for waste, they have not only diverted material from landfills but also preserved natural resources.
