Carrig Glen estate in Blessington recently planted 16 native Irish trees, with support from Blessington Tidy Towns, have a look at the following link, to explain further. As these trees are part of a Dispersed Urban Forest project from a Blessington Tidy Towns idea.

Carrig Glen estate have commissioned a beautiful piece of art in the estate , it looks amazing and is a testament to their progressive outlook to improve their environment for all the residents. Well done!!

Carrig Glen’s has creatively transformed recycled tree trunk wood into a beautiful planter box, showcasing their commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By repurposing this wood, which was otherwise destined for waste, they have not only diverted material from landfills but also preserved natural resources. This eco-friendly initiative not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of their gardens but also contributes to reducing deforestation and carbon footprint, promoting a greener and more sustainable environment.

Well done Carrig Glen for getting behind Blessington Tidy Towns , WEEE battery recycling project. Special shout out to Aine Keogh for organising the Carrig Glen residents, now they are all self sufficient and aware of the importance of recycling batteries too along with their other recycling too.
